The Red Sea is considered to be one of the best places to go diving or snorkeling. Not only because of the amazing fish and stunning corals, but also because the water temperature is min. 18C in the winter, up to 28C in the summertime. And, it is all shore diving! You only have to walk into the water to find yourself surrounded by beauty.
Most of the coastline of the Sinai Peninsula has been appointed as National Park or Protected Area. This means that you cannot just walk into the water (or desert for that matter) everywhere: You are only allowed to enter the water in certain spots, dive with a guide, certified by the National Parkrangers, the C.D.W.S. And for the desert, you will need permissions and a local guide.

The Blue Hole
One of the most visited places in the Sinai is the Blue Hole. This 125 mtr deep hole in the reef is one of the most famous dive sites in the world!
The Bedouin Tribes avoided this area, telling stories about an Egyptian princess who drowned herself here, because she wasn’t allowed to marry the man she loved. As a revenge, she calls on unmarried man, to follow her into the depths of the ocean, never to be seen again.
Since 1982 the Blue Hole has become a very busy site. Snorkelers, Scuba Divers, Technical Divers visit the Blue Hole every day! And since a couple of years, the Freedive community is joining them!

The Three Pools
The Three Pools is situated in the South of Dahab, about 40 minutes drive. Perfect day out for the whole family!

Pick you up from your hotel. Chill and relax, drink traditional Bedouin tea in one of the cozy Bedouin restaurants.

Ras Abu Galum/ Blue Lagoona
Following the coast further north, you will arrive at NP Ras Abu Galum. From the Blue Hole, you can take a camel, walk or use the Bedouin fisherman boats that are used as a ferry.

We leave Dahab early morning and drive to the ‘end-of-the-road’ at the Blue Hole. Here we jump on a camel or in a speed boat and set off to Abu Galum. We will go for a snorkel, relax, and enjoy a simple Bedouin lunch. A little bit further to the north is a spot known as the Blue Lagoon. In the last couple of years, this place has become a very famous spot for kite- surfing and a hang-out for trendy people.

Scuba Diving
Dahab has been on the top 5 diving destinations in the world for a very good reason: There are more than 15 different dive sites within a 30 minute drive of the town, suited for novice divers, all the way up to the highest level of Technical Diving.

For all non-divers who like to have a taste of being part of the Marine World, we offer an intro dive program. Together with a certified ,professional Dive Instructor you can go on a guided tour along the reef, with a max depth of 6 mtrs.
Certified divers can join in with the guided diving tours to the different dive sites. Programs will be made at the dive centre.

Boat Snorkeling
Although most of Dahab’s Dive sites are reachable from the shore, sometimes it is just nice to spend some time chilling and relaxing on a boat, all taken care off by the staff and cruising along the shoreline of Sinai.
